I’m thrilled to announce something close to my heart: Rumetco Sales will soon be expanding services to include repairs for accessible vans and wheelchairs. This initiative came about after I brought my own van and wheelchair in for repairs—and was amazed by the skill and care I received.

So far, Rumetco has:

• Replaced and adjusted ramp cables

• Fabricated and installed new door threshold guards

• Custom-made bolts and brackets for ramps and wheelchairs

• Designed and installed accessible gate hinges and latches

 

After experiencing firsthand the challenges of getting simple repairs done through traditional vendors—like needing a doctor’s script and waiting weeks for insurance approval—I knew we had to do something different. Currently, only two major providers in the area offer these services, and both are costly and slow.

At Rumetco, there will be:

• No doctor script required

• No inflated prices

• No waiting weeks for insurance approval

​

We’re committed to serving the disabled community with dignity, affordability, and efficiency. Our talented machinist, Bryan—a true jack-of-all-trades—will be handling most of the custom work. And I’ll be personally overseeing the program as Director of Accessibility Services.
